In its first-ever ranking of hospitals across the U.S., the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, a division of the federal Department of Health and Human Services, cited St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana as one of only 17 hospitals that ranks “above average” when it comes to saving lives from heart attacks. The ranking includes more than 4,800 hospitals nationally. St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana is the only hospital in the state to receive the government’s “above average” ranking.
