St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana was the first hospital in the state to receive the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines—Coronary Artery Disease (GWTG-CAD) Gold Performance Achievement Award in December 2007. The award recognizes St.Vincent’s commitment to and success in implementing a higher standard of cardiac care that improves treatment for patients with coronary artery disease, with 24 consecutive months of at least 85% of eligible coronary patients discharged following AHA treatment guidelines. Prior to winning the Gold Performance Achievement Award, St.Vincent received the Bronze Performance Achievement Award for compliance with guidelines over a 90-day period; and the Silver Performance Achievement award for meeting the same criteria for 12 consecutive months.

 

St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana received the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Cardiac Care Excellence Award from HealthGrades, America’s leading healthcare ratings company, as well as the Coronary Interventions Excellence Award (2008 – 2012). St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana has also been ranked #1 in Indiana for Cardiology Services for 8 Years in a Row (2006-2013) and #1 in Indiana for Coronary Interventional Procedures for 7 Years in a Row (2006-2012). Find out more here.

 

Thomson Reuters has recognized the 86th Street and 106th and North Meridian Street campuses of St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana in with the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals award for 2012. The study identified 50 hospitals that achieved superior clinical outcomes. St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana is the only hospital in Indiana recognized with this award. Find out more here.

In 2010, St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana at 106th Street was recognized with the Press Ganey Summit® award for being a top performing facility that continues to “sustain the highest level of customer satisfaction for three or more consecutive years.”
